Raider Card's Bio

The result of an older brother following the Raiders and a Father who follows the Broncos, Joseph Budd was tuned to the Raiders at a young age, starting with Ken Stabler's game against the Vikings in the 1976 season. Going through school, he was the subject of ridicule and resentment, especially after cheering for the Raiders through two more Super Bowl wins, and watched in horror when Bo Jackson's career was derailed.

Never giving up on his team, Joe went on to college, and took his hobby into business, opening a card shop, trading, and doing business both before and after the internet took off, selling cards and collectables.

After discovering that there was no physical way to collect every single card when your name is not Donald Trump, Joe decided to pursue the Raider cards. All Raider Cards.
Shortly after his 30th birthday, his wife made the mild comment, "You are a Card Addict, aren't you?"
To this day, it's been a title worn proudly....as Raider Card Addict, or, as he's known to Raider Fans, RCAinSD.

  3. looks like we've got quite the battle going on here. nice work so far, man.

  4. Sorry about that. It had nothing to do with fandom. When my preview articles have been edited, the guys who reads my stuff takes out the opposing team's tags. I wrote an article about the Dolphins-Raiders game and did not add a Raiders or AFC West tag.

I'm going to write to the community organizer and see what the deal is with this. Again, sorry. I would suggest, however, that when you have constructive criticism for another community member that you should assume positive intent, and not automatically assume everyone is out to get you. I would thank you to remember that.

  5. Hey Card, I'm waiting for your reply to finfan in regards to your article about this weeks upcoming game. Unlike him, you're civilized and reasonable, and there is no reason for him to say that to you. He's not as bad as 49er Paragon Mike was, but still.

  6. Here's an update...

  11. Ok, good luck

  12. As far as I can tell, it's where we both write a prediction about the same game (in our case Oakland-Miami), and then we provide a link to the others article at the bottom of ours. This would be my first time trying it, so I may not have every detail right.
Here's a link to the info on it:

  15. Hi, I am a community leader for the Dolphins. I was wondering if you would like to do a creature vs. creature for the Miami-Oakland game in Week 11.
If you are interested please respond back whenever you have a moment.
    Thank you.
