Jeff's Bio

I am a true sports fan. I'm an ex-athlete that enjoys watching athletic competition. I'm a lifelong Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, USC Trojan fan. I have a take on all sports and my takes are always on point. I'm not a myopic fan who can only speak of their team only. I'm a sports fan and I can discuss every team. I can discuss and or debate anything regarding sports with anyone!

check it out if you have a chance.

  15. jeff, thanks for the note. by the way, forgive my ignorance, in that photo with you, is that ray b.? i'm familiar with him from his time in atlanta. gotta lot a player like him.

i appreciate you reaching out. you know, when i sit down to write up these things after games, i try to be objective but a little bit of the fan comes out and i think, from my perspective, that's okay. but i agree with you, you gotta tell it like it is and also keep it real. i think at times i've been a little better at doing that than others, but that's still my approach when i sit down.

hey, i know the blame game all too well. i'm a manager of a group of people, in my real-life of work, and all 16 of their performances are ultimately MY responsibility. and you're on the money, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is not only insane, but hopeless as well.

al davis needs to get out the way of himself and take a close look at what's happening there. take players like moss and dom rhodes. moss leaves oakland and becomes the player he ONCE was. same with rhodes. rhodckes obviously isn't the same player moss is, but he was effective in indy, ineffective in oakland and back to playing well, when given the chance, in indy.

i keep you in the loop b/c i like your approach and you're highly regarded in the rankings of the nfl writers. thanks again.

p.s. i apologize if there's some random typos or letters in this note, as i'm typing my son is trying to do the same and he may have sent you a hidden message...
