i have just completed my graduation in commerce. am currently preparing for MBA. passions include reading books[ have around 3500 books till now and still counting...] , writing poems and listening to music. i love watching tennis and absolutely love Federer!!!!!!

well - you gotta get to know YOUR team - get to know them first

and one of the things which you gotta do now - is to sort if be unbiased and balanced

its like - you can support your team, but in my case in tennis

i used to write a lot about federer before, but once yourself and jaa came on board, i concentrated on other articles because the last thing we need is me ALSO writing federer

so - you gotta remain balanced .... no india, not aus - but the holistic picture

so if you know your writers ... that'll help you identify which issues you can concentrate on

also when someone new comes in and writes an article - add them as a fan, leave mess. on their profile telling - thanks for contributing and you look forward to reading more from them

I have no doubt that you will Rohini! I think the main thing right now is getting the Cricket writers to TALK WITH ONE ANOTHER!

We're starting to see this Community develop and under your leadership it could reach new heights. Don't waste any time setting up a weekly Round Table or doing a few Q & A's with other members of your Community.

Congrats on your cricket CL post.. I actually joined the cricket community on BR a long, long time back when Jon Naylor was made the CL.. things have changed quite a bit since then!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to contribute much due to my commitments towards the Arsenal, and the World Football Communities.

nascar is just a form of car racing

very similar to formula one - but f-1 has tracks .... nascar has ovals (meaning they just go round and tround an oval track w/o turning like we do in an f-1 track)

CONVENTIONALLY - f-1's technology, budget and reachability and investment and superior to nascar, but its comparing apples and oranges

nascar is more american, f-1 is more global

I am being frank. You know what, I liked your articles about Fed and tennis.

Just another piece of advice for you- why don't You just do M.B.A in Journalism or some course regarding that itself? You know what you will great.

As for my University, you might not know it that well. My college is good but there is problem. Its only a Boys college. SRI SATHYA SAI UNIVERSITY - Not a famous one but it has its great.

You got me wrong yet again. I did not say that you were not allowed to express your personal opinion.
I just gave friendly advice asking you not make a fool of yourself in the public.

And about that federer- Sachin thing i did not ask you to compare them ;just asked you to recognize the genius in them. And i don't think one needs to compare them for that.

Even in team sport if the world singles out a player not for a while but for two full decades just goes on to show his class. Fed by the way is just 5 years old into the arena called 'the best in the field'.
so let let show continue....until then......... u should get it........

here is what I think -

1. Variety Helps - what you dont want is for people to categorize you as something. thats why i encouraged jaa to write about rodge AND tennis in general. As much you love federer, its a whacky world out there - people like different things. I completely see that you are trying to branch out - which ic good. Keep writing about DIFFERENT things and am sure you'll get more reads

2. Picture - am a strong believer in this. A kickass picture that is relevant - get people curious and to come and in read. Its like doing a PhD and defending it. If you dont present well - no one will have a damm clue on what you did for 5 years. Choose - and think the picture for your article well.

3. I think you have a great POTENTIAL to become a kickass writer. But you must choose the topics well. I still love your coaching session - article ....
