  4. Thanks for the POTD nod!

  5. Great question!

No, it's not in any of the style guides. To be precise, no they "technically" aren't needed. HOWEVER, I always use them, just to avoid confusion. I had a friend reading over my shoulder one day and she asked me who played in the Alabama East division, so ever since then, I have become a staunch user of the periods.

So...yeah, I hope that helped. If not, let me know and I'll get you the according to Hoyle.

    Have a great day!

  6. Marissa, check out Fonzi Waterman's new article about the 2008 World Series Champions, when you get the chance.

  7. Hey, thanks a lot for your feedback on my article. You made some really good edits, appreciate it.

  8. You know I've never seen him live? Andy Pettitte's been my favorite pitcher since he joined the big club in 1995, I always had a thing for crafty left-handers (before him, obviously there was Jimmy Key...you old enough to remember him?), and I've never seen him pitch in person. I've had tickets to two of his starts and been rained out twice, and I missed him by one day during the last week at the Stadium. I'm gonna need to get to one next year. Any season now he'll retire and I'll be bitter about it for the rest of my life haha.

    Take it easy.

  9. Hey, thanks for the shout.

To be fair, let's not kid ourselves, I will have NO problem with us getting CC too haha...
