NFL Top Writers

1 - Sean Crowe

Writer bio

Sean Crowe got his start writing for the now defunct dailysportsreport.com (although we’ve recently been informed that DSR is back…but we assure you, Crowe has absolutely nothing to do with the new site).

His influences include ESPN's Bill Simmons (from his Digital City Boston days) and the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy before he went catatonic and was replaced by a random negative article regurgitating robot. He hates everyone who writes for the Boston Herald except for Steve Bulpett & Rob Bradford. Mike Reiss is his favorite sports writer at the moment, but he’s looking into becoming the president of the Amalie Benjamin fan club—for whatever that’s worth.

Crowe is married with 2 beautiful daughters. His wife is obviously a saint for putting up with him for over five yea...

2 - Raider Card Addict

Writer bio

The result of an older brother following the Raiders and a Father who follows the Broncos, Joseph Budd was tuned to the Raiders at a young age, starting with Ken Stabler's game against the Vikings in the 1976 season. Going through school, he was the subject of ridicule and resentment, especially after cheering for the Raiders through two more Super Bowl wins, and watched in horror when Bo Jackson's career was derailed.

Never giving up on his team, Joe went on to college, and took his hobby into business, opening a card shop, trading, and doing business both before and after the internet took off, selling cards and collectables.

After discovering that there was no physical way to collect every single card when your name is not Donald Trump, Joe decided to pursue the Raider cards. A...

The details about my life are fairly simple. I live in Brooklyn, NY, support the New York Jets, and love professional football down to the very core of my soul.

I believe opinions make the world go 'round, and refuse to falter on that stance. You can hold facts to your chest as closely as you please. I prefer to see them analyzed and disputed from a different, well-argued perspective.

Serious journalism is always welcome, but I'll be damned if we don't all love a good laugh. It's why I write serious pieces, and make plenty of joke ones.

Aside from spending an extraordinary amount of time analyzing sports I was never good enough to play on a professional level, I write various forms of fiction, my opinions on things unrelated to sports across the web, and school papers for ve...

I am a true sports fan. I'm an ex-athlete that enjoys watching athletic competition. I'm a lifelong Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, USC Trojan fan. I have a take on all sports and my takes are always on point. I'm not a myopic fan who can only speak of their team only. I'm a sports fan and I can discuss every team. I can discuss and or debate anything regarding sports with anyone!

I can say without hesitation that I am the biggest Eagles and Phillies fan that has ever lived.

I still can't believe that the Phillies won the World Series. I will never forget being in the city on Monday for the first 5.5 innings, on Wednesday for the last 3 innings, and on Friday for the parade. They say that school comes first—I don't think so.

I think that Philadelphia fans have been given an unfair rap by just about everybody since one particular incident involving a 19-year-old kid in 1968. In reality, there is no city in the world that displays passion for its teams like we do. We are the most knowledgeable fans in the world. We want perfection, and if you don't give us perfection, we will let you know. We may boo our players, but do we ever stop going to the games? No....

I'm a guy who got in football too late to play it in high school or college. But I love it too much to give up, so I intend to follow my dreams and do what the inspirational movies tell you to do. I want to be a great sportswriter on NFL and maybe be on the Hall of Fame Committee and an analyst for ESPN or NFL, I will not give it up no matter what.

I've recently been named a Community Leader for the Dallas Cowboys. I intend to keep that position for quite some time. But, I am not solely a Cowboy writer. I write on multiple subjects, and do a Cowboy piece every few articles.

My halloween Tom Landry article got on MSN (AMAZING!!!!), and I can't get the picture of me in the costume on the site for some odd reason.

To the left is a picture of me near the top of Mt. Lemmon -- the only location of snow in Tucson, Arizona.

Currently in high school, I run cross-country and track (one-mile and two-mile). I have a deep love for all Minnesota sports, but I have a deeper love for my Creator, Jesus Christ. I believe that I am saved by grace, through faith in Christ alone. I hope to bring you entertaining and relevant articles while I rant on whichever Minnesota sport happens to be struggling.

I recently came closer to Mexico when I moved to Tucson, Arizona, but moved farther away from my Minnesota sports.

No, I don't limit my interests to Minnesota sports. I love all sports, but I tend to gravitate towards the NFL. I will try to find peace with Arizona fans and maybe pick up a team or three.

Michael Whooley lives in the happiest place on Earth. No,not Disneyland; rather that beautiful city known as San Bruno in the wondrous state of California. Seriously, who needs snow? Michael emerged from his mother's womb decked in the red and gold of his beloved San Francisco 49ers. Growing up in the Bay Area in the late 80s and early 90s, Michael was spoiled and got to enjoy some of the best football any team has ever played (not just opinion, but a fact as solid as the fact that the male seahorse has the babies - look it up!) Trips to Candlestick Park to see the 49ers with his grandma were frequent occurrences. ...

OK, so I think I'm going to actually write a bio for all of you to enjoy.
My name is David Arreola, senior in high school (09 get off it). I live in Gainesville, FL. I love the Florida Gators and the Green Bay Packers. Brett Favre is my favorite athlete...probably favorite person of all-time.
I'm pretty neutral when it comes to most conversations. I like to take the "voice of reason" perspective. Usually making other people sound either ignorant or retarded...sometimes both. lol.

I could probably be a big time writer with POTD's and community leadership as well as a large droning army of fans like most front page writers on B/R. but..

23 - Sayre Bedinger

Writer bio

Welcome to the Sayre Bedinger writer profile! I am a 19 year old student in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I currently am the community leader for the Denver Broncos, and am a writer for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, and Iowa Hawkeyes. I also enjoy North Carolina Tar Heels basketball.

Ever since I was about ten years old, as far as I can remember I have loved the Denver Broncos. The only other memories of football I have prior to that are being obsessed with Starting Lineup action figures and having my parents put Broncos gear on me every now and again. I became obsessed with the NFL Draft when I received the complete set of Topps NFL Football Cards in 1999, and I memorized all the colleges and stats and biographies for every rookie there was.

25 - The Roundtable

Writer bio

Come on in! Grab a seat. Need a beer? That's what the Roundtable is about.

The name comes from our college hangout. There was one bar that knew us by name, always had an open table, and became the location of some great debates. Sure, some of them may have been about what song needed to be played on the jukebox, but the point remains. And it has really stuck. The Roundtable is where your friends gather to go over all sorts of topics. And the table always has an open seat.

You'll mainly see fantasy sports writing, concentrating on baseball and football. But there will be more than a few pieces on other topics that strike points of interest.

The Roundtable has a blog located at http://elmhurstpub.blogspot.com/

Thanks for checking us out, and be sure to tip your waitress.

I am a displaced Patriots fan living in Los Angeles. I started writing in 7th grade when I wrote a short story about a bunch of evil high schoolers taking over a middle school and the middle schoolers who fought back. I am still convinced that the film Toy Soldiers with Sean Astin totally ripped me off.

I enjoy two kinds of writing now - screenwriting and writing about the New England Patriots. I can be reached at PatriotsPropaganda@gmail.com.

Hi, I'm Ray.

I love hockey, football, golf, and am a closet wrestling junkie.

I'm also an editing intern. yay

News: I have a non-sports project that I'm hell bent on finishing right now. I didn't anticipate this reaction, but it's warped me into a writing machine. I'll try to get back to everyone, but the project does come first.

Compliments? Hate Mail? Just plain bored? Curious to actually know something about me?

P.S. Read Andrew Nuschler's new Favre piece. It's a great compliment to my Favre piece.

Hi, my name is Isaac Barrow. I was born January 28, 1993 in Rockville, Maryland. As long as I can remember, I've been a sports freak. I have a really good memory, so I can remember stats. I love the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, Maryland Terrapins. I like/respect all teams except the Washington Redskins, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Washington Nationals and at times the Chicago Cubs. I write on here when I can, but I'm busy with school a lot, so I usually write one every three days or so. I like writing about the O's and Ravens, of course. But I can write about the MLB and NFL in general and sometimes college. I like trying to be a versatile writer.

My real profession is a sophomore in high school in Maryland. I don't play on an organized team right now, but I play footb...

Hey, internet! Quick facts: I'm currently living in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. It's about an hour north of Milwaukee, where I'm planning on moving to after I find a real job to go along with my internship for the Milwaukee Wave indoor soccer team.

I'm a graduate from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse class of '06, and then spent two years there as a television news reporter. It was fun, but ultimately wasn't for me. So in the meantime, I'm working on my blog, www.thebuckychannel.com, and planning my next move.

Also, I would like to use this space to thank my friend Brett Berenz, who helps me write The Bucky Channel, and is responsible for many of the Bucks articles that will be posted here.

Thanks for reading!
