I have loved sports for as long as I remember. Growing up in Texas I grew to love high school football. I spent my college days at Texas Tech University so I like to keep with the BIG 12 and absolutely LOVE college football! Currently I live in Hoboken, NJ, just outside NYC. While I haven't converted to a Yankees or Giants fan it is hard not to get swept up in the lore of new york city sports! I don't root or follow one specific sports team; I simply love to watch for the sport of it. Currently, MMA takes up most of my time in regards to sports. I remember watching the first UFC's with my high school friends and it has been great to see the resurrection and meteoric rise of MMA.

Jon is a graduate student working on his Masters Degree in writing. He is a fan of all sports Minnesotan, but ranks mixed martial arts as his favorite sport. He was a late bloomer to MMA, not really getting into the sport until the Tito/Shamrock feud began, but doesn't really feel like he missed much leading up to all the ado.

Depending on what article you read, Jon is between 5'4"-6'8", between 120-320 pounds and may or may not be a member of the Communist party. He is single/married/divorced/widowed and enjoys drinking in the dark.

Your looking at an avid Yankee and MMA fan. As far as sports go I was once a huge fan of the sweet science but have lost interest as of late. I'm a huge fan of MMA and combat sports in general. Though I respect every fighter, I particularly admire Fedor, Kenny Florian, and of course, The Prodigy. I enjoy training in jiu-jitsu, and seem to do alright in grappling tournaments. However, I don't ever plan on competing in MMA. I'm currently a student pursuing a degree in philosophy. In the past I have been a lifeguard, technical support agent at a call center, grill cook at a steakhouse, and once, spent a month playing poker online for money. Out of these things, the only one of those occupations that I would now recommend for a young person is being a lifeguard. That's just my opinion.

While thinking about some philosophical questions on occasion, I have always been fascinated by sports and the incredible people that compete in them.

While I am a hockey and basketball fan, and keep up with a little bit on golf, football, soccer, boxing, I have really become most interested in two sports: MMA, and Tennis. While I do not actively participate in tennis, I am training in mixed martial arts.

I'm a custom home builder. I own two companies currently and am thinking of adding a few more. Normally we build new homes with the occasional larger addition or remodel thrown in for fun but right now we are doing lots more remodeling and small repair type jobs. We're building almost no new homes and just generally trying to keep employees employed.

I'm a fan of MMA. I've done a little training before but nothing really worth mentioning although I am starting to get a bit more serious. My hobbies are lifting weights, MMA and Motorcycles both dirt and street.

I'm not married but have a girlfriend of almost 7 years so I might as well be, no kids but I do have four Rottweilers who can be like kids when the pack mentality takes over.

I'm an MMA "nut" for lack of a better word. I love fighting, I can sense it in my blood. I'm mostly a fan of the UFC, and while I do watch other promotions, nothing compares to the UFC for me.
