As you heard from Jerry Lawler on Raw this Past Monday, Santino would be competing in Cyber Sunday against an opponent of the fan's choosing, The opponents being "Hot Rod" Roddy Piper, Goldust, or Honky Tonk Man.

Knowing how the fans might vote this one out, I can almost guarantee that they would want to see the Honky Tonk Man go up against Santino Marella. If the WWE can make some sort of deal with Honky Tonk Man, and he does decide to face Santino, wouldn't this match be too early to happen?

I would rather see this match happen when Santino reaches the 60 week mark. Why make Santino face the greatest intercontinental champion of all time so soon. Unless they feel that this angle will start to stale after a few months, and just have him face Honky Tonk Man to get it over with.

It is just my opinion that if ever this match does happen on Cyber Sunday that this match would be booked too soon.

  1. Yeah I agree it's too soon.
Man did I call it or did I call this a week or two ago.
Great to see Honky Tonk Man is an option.
But this should be happening in week 62 or 63.
