Well let's get the story straight, right off of the mark.

The Patriots offense was the best we have seen it all season long. The running game found its stride and finally set fourth a precedent for the rest of the season.

Breaking down stats, Matt Cassel has a rookie day at the office throwing two interceptions (that really could have been as many as four) but threw for 259 yards and a touchdown, while Kevin Faulk "Hasn't scored this many touchdowns since the fourth grade", said Belichick.

A career day for the Patriots veteran rushing for two touchdowns and gaining 80 all-purpose yards.

The Patriots backfield which, even I have admitted to being par at best, really impressed me yesterday intercepting former Patriots QB J.T. O'Sullivan three times. Luckily for O'Sullivan he threw for three touchdowns to offset those INT's.

The Patriots have a much greater and powerful opponent next week in San Diego. The stats may not add up to this team just yet but remember this is the same team that opposed us in the 2007 AFC Conference Game and were one hell of a team.

  1. That game really defined Matt Cassel despite the two INT's he was good and is getting more comfortable in the outside the pocket.

  2. Wait I forgot One Thing....
the Defense was also amazing...just giving a shout out to my main man Brandon Mariwether who got career INT numero uno.
