Today the team for the first two tests against Australia will be announced. The Irani Trophy failed to propel any youngsters to challenge the seniors and the new committee headed by dasher Srikanth will, in all probability, play the first ball safe by going for the tried and trusted combination.
This means Sachin, Dravid, and Laxman will all play along with Sehwag and Gambhir. Even Ganguly may get another chance. Badrinath, Rohith, Kaif, and Kohli will have to wait atleast till the end of test No. 2.
