Dimitar Berbatov has recently just signed for Manchester United from Tottenham Hotspur. Without doubt Berbatov is an incredible assetto Sir Alex Ferguson's championship winning team, but how many big matches will he be forced to sit out?
A lot of experts are saying Berbatov is the missing piece to the puzzle at Manchester United and that he will give them a different dimension. I think he will give them that and I also think he will score a lot of goals. Important goals. He will be an incredibly important player to Manchester United this season.
However, there will come a time for Sir Alex to make a big decision. When all four of his big hitters, Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov are fit, which out of these four superstars will he leave out. I think he would play 3 out of the 4. It is an very difficult decision and I think when it comes to it, Ferguson will go on the form of the 4 at the time.

Last season Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez were excellent. They scored over 80 goals combined. They have been called "The Holy Trinity". Now with Berbatov, can he make them into an awesome foursome and get over 100 goals between them? What would the best combinations be. What would your first choice eleven be for Manchester United. I'm sure Sir Alex doesn't know just yet what his best team is yet. This would be my best XI.

Centre Backs - Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic
Midfield - Michael Carrick, Paul Scholes, Owen Haregreaves
Strikers - Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov

I decided to put Berbatov in my first choice becuase he is a natural central striker, a natural goalscorer. He will stay right up front, unlike Rooney who likes to chase back. With Tevez and Ronaldo with him Berbatov has everything, he will get plenty of service and support and skill. Another plus of having Rooney on the bench is that I think he will give the most as a substitute and would have a lot to prove
I may not be sure of what Manchester Uniteds front line is going to be, but I am sure its going to be a very exciting season and I predict another Premier League and Champions League double!

umm, as far as big games are concerned, apart from the form, Fergy may also go on the fact that which players gel the best. If Ronaldo and Berbatov don't have the best understanding on the pitch, he may even drop Ronny!
You never know.
Rooney should always start as far as im concerned. maybe not as striker, as now Berba is here, but how about playmaker? an attacking midfield role would suite him fine. with scholes and carrick on either side, and hargreaves completing a diamond midfield and the usual four on the back, with any two out of Berba, Tevez and Ronny up front. Sounds like a ballistic to me.
